The aim of the club is to give anyone who wants to try or play volleyball in the Great Yarmouth area a chance to do so, catering for juniors and adults. Both training sessions are on a Monday evening. Juniors train 6-8pm and adults 8-10pm. Most of the juniors are around 14 years old but we have members as young as 9. We hope to start up a younger junior session after a series of sessions in local primary schools.

We are lucky at the moment to have some great coaches willing to give their time to develop the sport in the area, schools who want to see the game grow and a top class beach volleyball event held in the town in August.

The potential is there to make Great Yarmouth and the surrounding area a real hotspot for volleyball in East Anglia.

The club just 6 months old, has more than 50 members, and is looking to hit targets of 70 members by mid 2010. Teams are being entered into a number of local, regional and national tournaments for the 09-10 season.
